Design Details

The idea for this piece came to me after watching a science program on T.V. one evening. I was trying to recreate the plasma I saw on the show.

My interest in art began a few years ago when I was playing competitve tennis. I didn't like the ordinary look of my racquets and wanted to repaint them myself but didn't know how. After watching many car and motorcycle shows on t.v. during which they show custom painting techniques, I decided to try them on my racquets. As my painting skills improved my wife encouraged me to try painting larger items but I didn't know what to use. One day I was surfing the internet and came across a site that featured textured and painted abstract metal wall art. I loved what I saw. For the first time I saw art that held my attention.
