I was looking at pictures taken by the Hubble space telescope recently which showed the very early stages of planet formation and was inspired to make this. It is a flat piece of aluminum which is pretty light but also large and so needs plenty of wall space and due to the colors needs a lot of light. If it receives these two it gives back hours of delight.

My interest in art began a few years ago when I was playing competitve tennis. I didn't like the ordinary look of my racquets and wanted to repaint them myself but didn't know how. After watching many car and motorcycle shows on t.v. during which they show custom painting techniques, I decided to try them on my racquets. As my painting skills improved my wife encouraged me to try painting larger items but I didn't know what to use.
